Reception have settled well into the new half term and have been exploring some exciting new topics including Diwali and My Local Community. The children loved making their own paper lanterns and Diwali inspired Diya Lamps which they moulded out of clay and decorated beautifully. They are also looking forward to their upcoming trip around the local area, in which they will be looking for local landmarks and following maps.
