Opera visit September 2019

We were delighted to be able to welcome Opera UpClose into school to perform a short opera based on the well-known children’s book “Peace at Last” for the children in Nursery, Reception and Year One.  With beautiful singing from professional opera singers, accompanied by the harp and clarinet and a fantastic stage set, the children very much enjoyed this experience.  Our visitors from the opera were very complimentary and said that the Thomas Fairchild children were a great audience.
