Thomas Fairchild Primary September Start

Hello everyone,

I know that you will be upset about the fire in our school and if you have seen it, you will know that we can’t go back to school there until we have a new school built. Just think how wonderful that new building will be – I’ll be collecting all of your ideas about how you would like it to be so start thinking!

Everyone at the Learning Trust tried to find a way that we could all stay together in the same school but there were just too many children to fit anywhere so we have decided to split us into 2 schools. Nursery, reception, Y1 and Y2 will be together and Y3 up to Y6 will be together.

We will all get together as a whole school for Good Book Assembly and for Showtime so it will be great when we do that!

We are going to have to do some work to the learning environments that you are going to be in so you will start school a bit later – that is better than going to schools that are not ready for you and that you won’t do your very best in.

All of your equipment and resources will be brand new and I have chosen things that are the best I can find – just like you are.

Which children? Where will they be going? When will they start school?
